I have to chuckle to myself on that opening sentence, a little on the dramatic side wouldn’t you say? lol. Not that I have not been busy though, just not much time left in the day to take care of things around FPL when I get home from the "job’s". "He Boss" (the full time job) has had me combing the latest EPA ruling on environment laboratory testing, looking for loopholes to save us on the expense of complying with the latest published rule. As of yet I have not been able to find any, but I have achieved a new level of frustration. Were this new ruling to have a positive impact on the environment I would have no issue with it. However, it only adds further cost burden to laboratories which well be pasted along utility paying customers. Sorry guys! It’s not my fault that your water rates will be going up. "She Boss" (the part time job) has decided to re-energize her original florist shop and use it as the base station for a more aggressive "events" oriented operation. Which, with it’s location in the middle of winery / vineyard venues used for weddings and other such functions make good sense. So I have been busy playing project coordinator for the remodel. All this means that Fox Paw has slowly been growing with out any oversight, but not to fear. The last two evenings I have gotten home early enough to mow, prune, weed, dead head, rake and plant the containers for the deck. The above picture is two of the planters I finished this evening. There are Calla Lilies in a wonderful shade of orange, Coleus in a variegated green / bronzy orange. And …
Persian Shield (Strobilanthes dyerianus) in a fantastic purple and green. The Persian Shield’s are this seasons favorite plant.
Well that pretty much covers everything for now, guess it’s time for me to get back to my Tango. Hoping all are well and are having a great weekend. – gary
